Hello everybody!


En aquestes últimes classes, hem estat estudiant les hores ben en  profunditat. 
Primer de tot, hem après a preguntar per l'hora en anglès: 





-What time is it, please?





 Seguidament, hem après a dir l'hora en punt i cadascun dels quarts. Per exemple:




















Aprofitant l'aprenentatge de les hores, hem estudiat els àpats principals: 

-breakfast
-lunch
-dinner

A més, hem introduït adverbis de freqüència:

-always
-sometimes
-never  

I hem fet construccions com la que us exemplifiquem  a continuació:

e.g.: I always have breakfast at half past 7.

Hello everyone and welcome back!

Avui hem començat la classe fent un repàs a la gramàtica i al vocabulari que hem anat estudiant al llarg de la unitat 5.
De seguida, hem fet un exercici de listening on hem practicat prepositions. Recordem-les:

Aquesta setmana hem estat treballant els ADJECTIUS en grau positiu, comparatiu i superlatiu. Recordem:

Adjectives	Comparatives –er	Superlatives –est
BIG	BIGGER than	the BIGGEST
SMALL	SMALLER than	the SMALLEST
FAT	FATTER than	the FATTEST
THIN	THINNER than	the THINNEST
TALL	TALLER than	the TALLEST
SHORT	SHORTER than	the SHORTEST
OLD	OLDER than	the OLDEST
YOUNG	YOUNGER than	the YOUNGEST

Cal tenir en compte però, que no tots els adjectius afegeixen -er i -est per fer el seu comparatiu i superlatiu. Tenim com a exemple "dangerous", que fa el seu comparatiu i superlatiu com veureu a continuació:

- Crocodiles are dangerous.

- Sharks are more dangerous than dolphins. 

- Lions are the most dangerous animals in the jungle

Hello !!!!

Aquesta setmana hem iniciat una nova unitat: UNIT 4

What's the weather like?

Hem llegit i escoltat la història It's snowing! , on en Jack descobreix que està nevant i vol que tota la família pugui veure-ho. 

En aquest episodi de la família del Happy street, s'introdueix el temps verbal Present Continuous, que ben aviat el treballarem a fons.

D'altra banda, com que aquesta setmana és CARNIVAL, hem aprofitat per anar a l'aula de jocs i moure'ns una mica.

Hem convertit la classe en una toy Shop i en una café. Hem fet veure que èrem cambrers/es, cuiners/eres i botiguers/eres i hem après alguns diàlegs típics com ara:

At the Toy Shop...

Shop assistant: Good morning, can I help you?

Costumer: Yes, please, I would like to buy a doll.

Shop assistant: Do you like this one?

Costumer: No, I don't. I prefer that one.

Shop assistant: All right. Is it a present?

Costumer: Yes, it is. Gift-wrap it please.

Shop assistant: Yes, of course.

Hello parents!

Aquesta setmana donem per acabada la unitat 3 del nostre llibre. Recordem tot el que hem treballat fins ara:

Gramàtica
- Hem estudiat l'estructura gramatical there is / there are en les seves corresponents formes d'afirmació, negació i interrogació. 
- Hem après a fer preguntes amb how many. E.g.: How many cars are there in the street?
- Hem après a fer servir l'adverbi any tant en oracions negatives (there isn't any dog here) com interrogatives (is there any dog here?).
Vocabulari
- Hem estudiat el vocabulari relacionat amb les ciutats: cinema, supermarket, station, church, school, theatre, hospital, toy shop, pet shop, etc. 

Fonètica i fonologia
- Hem après a discriminar mots que s'assemblen en la seva pronúncia o en la seva ortografia: coffee i cafe, boys i voice, week i weak
- Hem vist la diferència entre la "a" en mots com car i en mots com taxi. Per entendre-ho més fàcilment, hem explicat que en català també tenim vocals obertes i tancades com ara ós i os.

Homework:
Recordem que per deures s'ha de fer una petita redacció sobre el vostre poble i/o ciutat. Podeu guiar-vos dels exercicis de l'activity book on hi ha exemples clars però convé que ho feu el més personalitzat possible, evitem fer una còpia exacta del que trobem als llibres.

Podeu començar amb frases com ara:  "I live in a village..." "In my village there are lots of..."
"I like my village because there is a ..."

Hello everyone!

Aquesta setmana hem seguit endavant amb la unitat 3 del nostre llibre. En aquesta unitat treballem tot aquell vocabulari relacionat amb les ciutats i/o pobles així com també el verb haver (THERE IS / THERE ARE).

Recordem doncs, la següent estructura:

There is a rubber on the desk (hi ha una goma sobre l'escriptori)

There are two girls in the classroom (hi ha dues noies a la classe)

També hem practicat la pregunta:     "How many?"

How many teachers are there in the school? (quants professors hi ha a l'escola?)

A més, hem fet après a fer servir l'adjectiu "any", tant en frases negatives com en preguntes:

There isn't any toy shop in Sant Fost (No hi ha cap botiga de joguines a Sant Fost)

Is there any cinema in this village? (hi ha cap/ algun cinema en aquest poble?)

Aquesta ha estat la nostra primera setmana després de festes i ens ha servit per donar un bon repàs a les unitats 1 i 2 (que s'havien de repassar a casa) i començar a treballar el vocabulari de la unitat 3, In the Town. on s'estudien els noms de llocs com ara church, supermarket, park ...

Hello everyone!

Christmas ja és aquí! 

Aquesta ha estat la nostra última setmana de classes i hem fet moltes activitats nadalenques on hem après i/o repassat el vocabulari més característic d'aquestes festes. Mireu quin Christmas Tree vam penjar a la nostra aula:
